Koenig Wedding at Oaks of Devonaire

Colby and Charles (aka Chuck) married at the Oaks of Devonaire in Arcadia, FL. Colby and her mother spent months finding the perfect vintage decorations. The open barn had tables lined with burlap runners and center pieces with pink flowers and tea sets.

The couple got ready at the barn. The sky had a light blanket of cloud coverage that allowed for the wedding party to mingle inside and out comfortably while waiting for the ceremony.

The ceremony was officiated by Chuck's pastor. Their marriage was prayed over and blessed from the beginning. Happy tears were shed as the couple became husband and wife.

The meadow was so beautiful. We stayed for couple's portraits and the sun warmed the light from behind the oak trees. Colby looked like a princess!

After the ceremony the guests headed back to the barn, following the scent of the TACO TRUCK! Colby and Chuck enjoyed Danny's Tacos so much that it only made sense to have them cater the wedding. It was a hit!

Couples who marry at the venue get a special wooden leaf which they nail on to the venue's tree. Colby and Chuck added their name and date and are now apart of Oaks of Devonair's story.

Speeches were made from and for the couple. Chloe, Colby's daughter who is wise beyond her years, gave a toast to her mother and new father. It was so full of love and the word of God. To hear such a young girl speak with such confidence and blessings was quite impactful.

After everyone had a full belly it was time to hit the dance floor! Chuck swayed with Colby to their first dance in the crisp night air. They finished the night off by cutting the cake together...and then heading off to the Florida Keys for their honeymoon!

Thank you for allowing me to capture your special day. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Koenig!
