Bay Preserve at Osprey, a wedding venue with charm

Branden and Mya’s wedding at The Bay at Osprey was the perfect blend of love, laughter, and a little adventure. From the very start, you could see how much care went into every detail. Branden, a master planner, poured his heart into creating a day that reflected their journey, while Mya brought the fun, laid-back energy that made the day feel light and joyful.

Before the official ceremony, Branden and Mya shared a private vow exchange, a quiet and intimate moment that set the tone for the day. It was a beautiful contrast to the festivities that followed, a chance for them to pause and soak in the meaning of the day ahead.

One of the more playful and meaningful traditions they took part in was burying a bottle of bourbon for good luck, a Southern tradition said to ward off bad weather. They buried it a month before their big day—and guess what? It worked! The skies were clear, the sun was shining, and the weather was perfect. They dug it up on their wedding day and toasted with a celebratory shot, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.

The centerpieces were one of my favorite touches. Each table had a centerpiece with names and photos of different places Branden and Mya had visited together. It was like a mini tour of their love story, with snapshots from their adventures around the world. But there was one table missing a photo—their sweetheart table. The name? Maldives. That’s where they’ll be honeymooning soon, adding another chapter to their travel story.

The reception, held outdoors by the water, was a celebration full of energy and joy. With the sun setting over the bay, friends and family danced, laughed, and shared in the love that Branden and Mya so clearly have for each other. It was the perfect combination of beauty, sentiment, and fun.

Congratulations to Branden and Mya, and here’s to a lifetime of more adventures!
