What to wear
Think Neutrals
Creams/blacks/whites/grays for family portraits. They go with everything!
Colors are great too, but keep in mind your home décor and what colors will look good when printed and hung on your walls.
What to bring
A little prep work goes a long way
For baby: Milk, diapers/wipes, pacifier, and if necessary - gripe water.
For you: Snacks, drinks, change of comfy clothes.
For siblings: If you do not have someone to take the baby's siblings out after the family portion of photos then bring something to entertain them.
What to expect during the session
Picture day!
A content baby makes for the best photos! Our goal is to keep baby happy and sleepy. The studio will be warm and we will take breaks to allow for cuddles/feeding/diaper changes.
If parents/siblings will be in photos, that portion of the session happens first. After this siblings typically are taken out so they aren't bored and the studio is quiet for baby. This is a good time to change in to your comfortable outfit.
Baby will be dressed in a portrait outfit, and likely swaddled to begin with. I will take a variety of photos using my props and posing table.
What to expect after the session
The fun part
After your session I will send over an online gallery of your un-edited images. You will use this to make your selection of images (you will receive an email with instructions on how to select photos). After you're done picking you let me know and I get to work on editing your beautiful photos. If you would like more photos than what is included in your package you may purchase them at this time.
When your photos are completely edited I send over a new gallery with download instructions. Your gallery is connected to a professional print lab so you have the option to print through them and have the photos delivered to your home.
